Ciao, or Hello! My name is Giovanna Guszak, though most know me as Vanna. I founded Imotion Logistics in 2009, a proud Women-Owned Company built on a foundation of hard work, family values, and a deep understanding of what it means to deliver.
My journey to logistics began long before 2009. At six years old, I immigrated to America from Milan, Italy, with my parents, Angelo and Rosetta, and my three older siblings. We arrived in Southern California with the dream of building a better life. My parents worked tirelessly in the catering industry, eventually realizing their dream of owning a family home and, later, opening an Italian Deli in Torrance.
It was in that deli, amidst the aroma of fresh sauce and the warmth of genuine connection, that I learned invaluable lessons. My parents treated every customer like family, fostering a true sense of community. This dedication to personalized service and attention to detail became the blueprint for Imotion Logistics.
The challenges of the 2009 financial crisis further motivated me to forge my own path. With over 25 years of experience in ground, air, ocean, and international logistics, I created Imotion Logistics to provide the kind of dependable, personalized service I saw exemplified in my parents' business.
